(no subject)
Today was so rad because my dad came up to see me! He helped me with some problems that I was having with my computer and tv. He also brought gifts which included this beer stein that he filled with 40$ worth of quarters for laundry. Apparently he had that beer glass when he was in college. I thought it was this cool odd father daughter thing. I dunno... Anyhoo, he also gave me this gift from my mom. She knitted me this scarf and matching hat that are Western colors. Don't you just love mom gifts? I miss my family so much! I talked to jake on the phone the other day and he told me about the retreat he just went on. He had a lot of fun and he said he connected with God a lot more! I'm so happy!!!!!! On another note.. I'm sick today and I start my first day of work (from 11:00 pm to 2:00 am!!!) Aaaand I'm the only one of duty (usually there are 4 of us) so i have to partrol the entire campus and deal with the hundreds of freshmen who are experiencing their first night away from parents and are getting waisted out of their minds! YAY for me! Oh well... its money and they dont know what little power I have... so I will have fun with them. :D
