Watching To The Last Man the other night made me want to do a Tosh vid to that Moby song. I like Moby songs. Possibly the minimalism of them, particularly the two I actually have on my computer (One Of These Mornings and Why Does My Heart (Feel So Bad)), makes it so that vidding to them you need to place even more importance on the clips, because ( Read more... )

I loved you Moby vid I saw last, can't wait to see this next one! His songs (particularly those two) are so utterly heartbreaking, especially with the Torchwood love alongside. Oh you might make me cry!
He has another song, which has a lovely simplicity to it "The Great Escape" which is just..haunting. Probably the lyrics more than the melody, though.

Moby and Faithless both have this effect on me - Faithless' Evergreen is particularly good for it. He has a lot more lyrics than some of Moby's songs but you can focus on the melody or you can listen to the actual lyrics as well and that just adds to it, rather than a lot of bands where the melody doesn't really stand on its own very well.

lolz hi.

I find that basically all the vids I feel motivated enough to really think about doing have the same general "Torchwood sucks and then you die" theme. Which is funny, because my fic is in general much more optimistic, even when it's dark.
