So here's a hilarious story for your consumption! So the LSAT wasn't on Feb 15 after all, haha! It was on Feb 10. While noodling around the afternoon of Feb 9 I casually checked my email. In it was some spam from the South Wesleyan College of Law of East Dishrag, Texas (not the real town.) It said, roughly, "Jordan Willcox, we wish you the best of luck on your LSAT tomorrow, Feb. 10! Remember to considering East Dishrag South Wesleyan College of Law for all your law school needs!"
And I said, "stupid monkeys. Not only are they so desperate as to be mass spamming LSAT takers pre-test, unsolicited, but they got the date wrong."
Then I thought: hmmmmmmmm.
Perhaps I should double-check.
Thus enter some serious cramming and insomnia while trying to get that critical 4-5 hours of sleep. Cruisin' the slummy side of town at 7AM, looking for NoDoz. Good times. The test went well, though. Or at least, no worse than the practice tests. I don't think. I won't have any trouble getting into a good law school in the event that I should become desperate enough to have to do that. As you can see, I'm not really reconciled to it yet.
In the meantime, I have an interview with Wallmart in 75 minutes. So things are definitely looking up. Or, anyway, I'm apparently done staying in one place.
There have been two very cool contract opportunities thrown my way recently to work with Visual Basic, but I doubt I'm going to snare either of them, sadly. Also that website for Joe is crashing out. Anyone want a free website? I think I'm going to put posters up around my town to that effect. I need a portfolio. Guru.com is wayyyyy intimidating.
