art is lovebrought to you by the isLove Generator

You've got to love the random things in life.

Like when you are told in no uncertain terms that as soon as you so much as slip, you need to quit the only sport you like; the only form of socialization you have left outside of your job.

Speaking of said job, you are not allowed to quit it, you may not even think about cutting out some hours, and we will yell at you if you so much as mention changing the days you work.

But rifle practice is Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. The matches happen on Tuesday and Thursday. This leaves Wednesday and Sunday open. As well as some of Saturday....

What free time?

And I usually work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

What can you do, right? I mean, it's only my life and all, so I should have no control of course. But it's ok.

I only know how to deal with this in one way.

At rifle, I didn't do too well...ok, I did pretty well, but not great. I think I got smaller because the shooting jacket I used last year is bigger. It is also for a right handed person. I didn't have my shooting glove. Ah well. Things happen, people make mistakes, life moves on.

Two of the guys have shooting pants (don't ask, they're really stiff and apparently keep you from moving much) and I was asked if I would be ok with them changing into their pants in the range area. I said I didn't care, but I kind of thought he was kidding....

And then he took off his pants.

And why the hell am I the only one willing to zip up the legs of the pants? Is everyone else afraid that it would be seen as them being gay?
