Going up North tomorrow with a tent and a bed roll, a book (Inkheart), a notebook, and a black pen.
All I need is my leather,
one t-shirt, and two socks.
There will be wine and bourbon and bonfires and smoked venison, I'm told. I can't forget the photos from D.C. to share and the cell phone has become an unfortunately integral part of life, but I'll be leaving the laptop behind.
The garden is choking in weeds, but that will have to wait until Tuesday, there's still an entire summer for that. Ditto on the "spring" cleaning. I'm spending as much time with T and on the road and at the garden as I can for the next few weeks.
