I picked up Never Let Me Go cheap on Saturday, and we watched it later that night ..
About half way through, Rob turned to me and said "ready to slash your wrists yet"?? ... ;)
It's a very beautiful story, but SO depressing .. the characters are very likable, and the fate that awaits them just feels so awful .. recommended, if you feel like a good cry ..
We also started watching The River, which I'm really loving, but at the same time, worrying over all the questions raised, and will they ever be answered?? I hope it doesn't go the same way as LOST, which started out so well, and turned into complete rubbish ..
EDIT- just read that this show has been cancelled, so hopefully they actually give us a resolution?? Fingers crossed.
If you're after some crazy gore, then check out Hatchet 2 ... even sillier (and MUCH gorier) then the first outing, this had Rob and I laughing a lot .. also features the biggest chainsaw I've ever seen ... ;)
