Entry 22- Clawing through pixel
Not sure exactly why I'm even doing an entry this week, but well there is a little bit of news type stuff not to much but well I'm sure you've heard it all before. I'll be hitting it on thursday now. My transportation switched on me (as I'm not bringing my car) so I got an extra day now. Not sure what I'll be doing that extra day. But its more time to pack and get my things in order I guess.. also means twenty-four more hours of slackability.
I haven't really been doing anything of to much import. I've been spending time hanging out with my friends, and packing mostly. Trying to say my goodbyes to all the kick ass people I know in Knoxvegas. I have finished a three week buffer for decypher (as mentioned almost done in my rants this week) and I'm almost ready to mix down the full synth for the Restless Moments. Hrrms guess I have been getting a lot done.
Though I gotta say it.. I so hate drawing newspaper strip format. Right now I'm taking a break from doing a guest strip for a comic that is having a webcomic characters get together, its an anniversary for the comic, and no one was really interested (well other than the artist of Many Tidings Grim, and Almost knowhere said they'd take part too) so I thought since I had a little slack period I'd do that for em. but tell ya, it bores me to tears. I guess I understand why daily newspaper comics do the factory approach. Its hard to get anything interesting going on in alittle tiny 300 by 700 format. Hopefully they will like it. Its a christian comic, not exactly my forte in terms of humor... I mean how many ways can you poke fun of a fundamental religion, that you haven't studied since you were a kid, & not insult anyone? Not exactly my strong suit.
Well here's two drawings I did this week, fully coloured and everything. This week was actually strange. First off there was this running gag with some of my friends at
the forums, about that Extreme loonytoons make over thing, the loonatics or whatever? So we decided to do out own take on it and make our avatars xtreme. This was my avatar all crazed out.
And this drawing is actually kinda small its a new avatar I drew cause I got the top bannana rank and thought it'd be funny if my avatar was going after it.
Of course Mr. Bob had sinister ideas and the day after I posted it... well there was a bit of fun...

then suddenly this thing appeared...
... so then I got creative.
Well I'm not sure how many people will be amused by the antics.. but what is this journal stuff if you can't show how silly your sense of humor (and others can be)
Well not much left for me to say here. I'm gonna try to do another post before I leave off the net and get on the road to my mom's place. And have to deal with the only scanner I could salvage to bring. its a doozie. takes an hour to scan at 300dpi. I know the first thing thats going on my shopping list.
now I'm gonna go get more interesting or something.
