A Storm is Coming
The weather has been weird again lately. A week ago, it was 84ºF. That was pretty bad, being that it's winter and all. But then it started raining. The rain went away, but the cold stayed. I'm not complaining about the cold. I like this weather. On Monday night, it was stormy though. Wind was shaking everything around. I was trying to finish up my homework. Being the only one awake when the storm was messing with the tin roof outside is pretty spooky.
I was listening to the Lost soundtrack when I was doing my homework that night. Try listening to The Final Countdown when you're all alone and tired on a dark and stormy night. I couldn't get through Charlie Hangs Around without having to change it. And then the power went out. By then, it was 12:45-ish. I was more pissed off than scared. I knew that a flashlight wasn't nearby. I just used my iPod Touch. That works too. I was more concerned about getting my homework done than getting attacked by imaginary smoke monsters. It came back on a minute after. And then one and a half hours later, I finished my homework. Fun, fun.
