This week is kind of crazy and I haven't really been around much and I'm missing all sorts of stuff, but you know, whatevs. My life isn't that exciting. Here are some things that happened.

Stop teasing me with mentions of amnesia!Kris but no actual amnesia!Kris darn it. Or I will tease you with mentions of Imitator!Kris, but no actual Imitator!Kris. Actually...that wouldn't really be a loss, since no one has any idea what it's about, and I just started posting it yesterday.

Yeah, I have barely been able to look at my flist much less read anything because of having visitors and all! And trying to get this fic done. It's due August 1, and I'm going on vacation next week so, yes. Gotta write! EEP.

Yeah, I joined that comm because it's so right up my weird dramatic alley. But I'm kind of confused by it. Do you just take the movie summary and apply fandom characters? Or apply fandom characters and keep the main ideas mentioned in the movie post? I would so do this next time around, if I can understand how it works, LOL.

It's basically just using the plot of the crazy Lifetime movie as a prompt, a sort of jumping-off point to write a fic in your fandom. You can stay as true to the Lifetime plot as you want, or just pick and choose elements and ideas.

For example, the one I'm doing... in the Lifetime movie, this woman is married with kids, and she gets amnesia and thinks she's 16, and has to decide if she wants to stay with her family or start a new life.

But in my fic, the only thing I'm really keeping is the amnesia :P I'm not doing the "revert to age 16" thing because that is waaaay too much explanation! And it's starting before Kris and Katy got married, to avoid THAT complication.

Amnesia!Kris/anarchist bookstore sounds WAY awesome.:)

The calf thing made me comment, because I remember that as a symptom of needing more calcium: I had to take calcium supplements when pregnant because it's easy to get that deficiency. You might try that for a week or so and see if they improve. Oh god, are they the type that wake you up in the night? 'Cause those are killer!

Yeah, I just had the one, but it woke me up and it hurt soooo bad. My calves were super sore the next day even after stretching them out. Calcium. Maybe I should buy some milk to have with lunch? I'm not a milk person :( But I will try.

I didn't create the anarchist bookstore, it just happens to exist here in Austin and I mean... you can't go wrong with an anarchist bookstore. I think MattyG would make a hilarious anarchist.

Yeah, actually women are supposed to have like three or four servings of calcium a day I believe. But you could also buy cheap supplements and check online for a dosage, if it persists. If you're not getting that calcium, it definitely could be linked. Yeah, the pain is SO intense from those, it wakes you up, and I had the same thing, residual pain from it for days after.

Get calcium in you hon!:)

I am woefully unprepared for stori_telling, but I think I'm going to set it at UF and I just finished doing research on all the rumored hauntings, so I think I know where I'm going with it, I just...haven't executed it yet. *sigh* I'm really, really excited to read these stories though! It was such a good idea for a challenge.
