I love that Shins song. I kept hearing it on the independent rock station here and I needed it.

That shins songs to me, when I first heard it, always reminds me of dating someone, and then not. And then they're your phantom limb your reaching for but is never there.

I am glad I have a crush on a girl to distract myself from the phantom limb feelings. I ran into her this morning, and we walked and talked about the heaviness of things, in the unbearable lightness of being sort way.

It's nice. I think I might ask her out, fi I wasn't so afraid she'd say no.
