these boots
So today, I managed to catch the bus that doesn't bother to continue its route from downtown to the University, and I had to walk about 10 blocks over and 5 blocks up. UGH. That really sucked.
More from Hell House: I had rent notices on my bedroom door yesterday when I got home! This, after calling the woman a bunch of times trying to find out about the new pot head managers and never hearing anything back from her. So I called her a bunch more times AND texted her. Another one whose mailbox is inexplicably full every time I try to leave a message. After the text, I finally got a call back. I told her I left them rent in the mailbox of the house next door, which is their office. But considering how fucking hot that house is, I don't see that I should have to pay utilities. Good luck to them trying to get me to do that.
At least all the people who kept leaving doors open are gone. And there's no couch for randoms to sleep on, so that problem is solved.
Max seems to be doing okay and not torturing Mitch too much, which is a relief. His reputation is greatly exaggerated. Max is an awesome cat and some of my friends seem intent on painting him as some sort of vicious killer. Whatevs. They just don't understand his awesomeness. He only bites when he gets crazy eyes.
I am very sad that wendy can't come to visit :( Maybe I could figure out a way to go up to DFW over Labor Day instead. If I went to see Max on Friday evening instead of Saturday, I could go up there. wendy, what do you think? Maybe I should email her instead of telling LJ about it. Hmmm. I really want to watch some concerts or something though. Wendy always has random stuff to watch.
Nothing much else going on here. New job is good. I'm driving the crack_van and trying to keep up with JC's Outfits. Last week it was the chain-mail ascot. This weekend it was an even uglier black version of the pink tuxedo shirt thing. With the added bonus that now no one thinks he's gay because no gay man would be caught dead in something so hideous. Still, his hair continues to grow and I am hoping for a new and awesome style soon.
Also, did you guys hear that Sony/BMG is just Sony now? BMG got bought out. Iiiiiiiiinteresting. Or not. I mean, it's not like anything happening in the music industry will effect us ever getting JC's album. Sigh.
Okay, I'm just rambling now. I really should work on my JuC Swap.
