Is it weird that while I COMPLETELY agree with you on the David Cook thing, I want him to win too? I just want him to be proven the better Idol, even though I don't want him stuck with the title.

It's hard, isn't it? We want to feel vindicated in our Idol Choice, but we don't want him stuck with that contract. How about we feel vindicated when both their albums come out next January and Cook's beats Archelleta's times 11?

O man, I actually want to BUY his CD. There's something about him that makes me happy. I think it might be a mix of his Billie Jean and Elenor Rigby. Plus, I kind of want to have sex with him.

Billie Jean almost ended him for me, but then I fast forwarded to protect myself. I have a thing about people covering Michael Jackson. As in, it should never be done, because no one could possibly make classic MJ better than the original. This is also the reason I hate Amy Whinehouse--because she performed an MJ song while plastered out of her mind on the CHarlotte Church show and butchered the fuck out of it.

So uh. I have a Thing about MJ. But I did like David's Mariah song and his Lionel Richie, and I would buy both of those instantly. I have his actual album (*shifty eyes*) but I'm not that fond of it, to be honest. I'm hoping he makes something more original when he gets an actual deal and has some money to spend on production.

You know, the first time I herd Billie Jean, I HATED it. But then I found this folder of all the studio length versions of his songs that I downloaded and it was on there and I heard the entire song and... yeah. It was beautiful. I was shocked at how much I didn't hate it.

And I saw that Wino vid. I think we saw it together, hahah. That was fucking... no words.

And do you have Analoge Heart or whatever the fuck it's called? I have that one too. It sounds odd to me. Not completely terrible, just... not David Cook. Or what I'd come to expect from David Cook. Bah, I dunno, I don't actually watch American Idol and have never been a big fan of it. It was all about Cookie and Castro, who I LOVED.

I do have Analog Heart. And yeah, it's very generic, which I tend to think is either just his style, or reflective of a lack of money/production. It'll be interesting to see what he comes up with on a real record deal, though
