True Story

Fandom: popslash
Pairing: JC/Tony
Comments: Written for It's Gonna Be May! Thanks to puszysty for being my fact-checker and MMC Guru Extraordinaire. My first time writing Tony and I am pretty sure I didn't do him justice, but I tried! It's sort of a music mix, and sort of a story, so just follow my lead and hopefully we'll end up in the same ( Read more... )

You made me a little sniffly when JC stopped kissing like a girl. (Which is maybe silly, because I'm all for JC being a man, dammit. But I felt for Tony.)

And yes, *pokes JC*, don't be a quitter, dude. *llamaglareofdoom* Give us music.

This is good. I really like it, because I think it screams authentic. And it makes me sad that they aren't close friends anymore :(

Nice job.

Me too. I really want to know what happened between them :( I hope someday they do become friends again, though. Maybe the same day JC pulls his head out of his ass :P

Sadly, I hear it was about the amount of money he would make opening for JC when he toured in 2004. And that is why he didn't do more shows with him. :(

Oh, I hate that it was over money. Some day, they're going to look back on that and realize how petty money is, and how many years they lost because of it.

my favorite line: ...the time with JC, who just smiled a little and kissed like a girl... - it's weird because even though i try to pretend otherwise, i end up enjoying the stories where the writer's version of a character fits the one in my head more. however! it doesn't bother me at all that your jc is so different to the one in my head.

also: one of my favorite stories is the remix of understood by betty plotnick. i don't know much about tony canon-wise but i still enjoyed this.

I don't think I know that story but I am always wanting more Tony fic. Can you link me??

My version of JC changes daily. Right now I'm too mad at him to write him as awesome :P

Oh! I really liked this. And I'm going to echo the others on here when I say that it's so realistic. And when I read fic, those are the ones that always get to me the most, when you think that they actually happened or could happen!

There were so many lines here that got to me, but I especially liked all of the 'like this:' parts. And the parts about JC's kiss.

\0/ This was excellent, go you!

Thank you!! It was going to be this big long thing about road trips and all the times driving cross-country, but then I got lazy and wrote this instead :P But I am quite happy with it!

This is so good. Achy through most of it, but the ending is hopeful and makes up for the betrayal in the bit before (which is silly, jc kissing like a man is a betrayal?). And I like that idea, everything being fine again because they just forget.

Well it's more, you know, that in the meantime JC has grown up and become someone else that Tony can't really reconcile with the JC he remembers? Anyway, yes! Thank you :)
