chace chasez ftw
I don't know if any of you read Towleroad, but it's sort of a LGBT-themed news and gossip blog, and I love it. And this morning I was delighted to see a whole entry about the eternal love of JC and Chace Crawford come up in my feed reader:
Chace Crawford and J.C. Chasez had a tête-à-tête at Elton John's 16th Annual Oscar party benefit for his AIDS Foundation.
The couple reportedly discussed the re-emergence of the skinny purple tie, the latest tabloid stories from the New York Post, the fact that if they got married then one of them would be called Chace Chasez, and, of course man bangs.
Along with the pictures everyone else has been posting already of JC and Chace looking very couply, JC and Chace looking at the New York Post, etc. But the best part about this post is the plethora of comments from people who are wondering if this is actual, for real coming out news and wishing JC and Chace congratulations.
Secondly, I voted! I got my absentee ballot on Friday and immediately filled it out and sent it back. YAY voting. I also went to the Obama rally on Friday. It was amazing just to be in the crowd with all these people all fired up about the election and the candidates, standing in front of the Texas state capital and, yeah. His speech was really good. Articulate and interesting and full of policy things, full of statements about how awesome the American people are and how no matter what, the name George W. Bush will not be on the ballot in November. He talked for an hour and I didn't even notice how much time was going by. It was really amazing.
Thirdly, for those of you who care, everything is worked out with my job in the best possible manner, AND I am getting a $1/hour raise while I fill in until they find a permanent office manager.
Fourthly, a question about cats. So. I am thinking about my move to DC, and how I will probably have to live alone because of my cat and his propensity for clawing people. But living alone is super expensive. I have resisted getting Max declawed because it's just so brutal and cruel, but he really does have a clawing issue and I don't know if I'll be able to afford my own place in DC. Do you guys know of any alternatives? Have any of you tried caps for the claws, and did that work?
