I think the difference in the club show and the arena show is that he was way more engaged with the audience during the club shows, at least the one I was at, and for the arena shows, he's Performing in a Production.

I agree re: Justin. Plus, this was my first arena show. I've never been to a venue bigger than a couple thousand people before, so it was crazycakes. But we were close. Still, yeah, the engagement factor, not so much.
Re: JC. I hadn't heard anything about his album in a while and supposedly it's supposed to be out this month or next month. But when i checked up on the news, now they're thinking of changing the first single? And apparently the radio tour went really badly, stations haven't been receptive, etc. Sad, sad, sad. I don't *really* know what's going on, but it's not looking good, you know?
Okay, I thought you had maybe heard something definite. I did see JC say they hadn't decided on a first single yet. It's like watching a car accident in slow motion. I can't even imagine what's going through his head. He works so hard, and he's so talented, and it's such a CLUSTER FUCK.
Cluster fuck is such a good term for it. The lack of promo is scaring me, too. I mean, granted, I don't really expect the album to come out until July at this rate, but considering the lack of effort Jive is putting into it, they expect it to fail miserable. Self-fulfilling prophecy, all of that. I think if I were JC, I'd refuse to release it at all. Because what's the point, if it's not going to go anywhere?
It's just him and pink. Although Pink goes on AT 7:30. Doors opened at 6:30. And Pink (who I didn't like before) was actually amazing and very much worth seeing. If you have GA tickets, I recommend getting there at 5:30. We had amazing spots. If you have actual seats, 7:15 is probably fine. They have their crowd control down pretty well.
No pictures. They didn't allow cameras and were pretty strict about making people trying to take pictures stop.
But Wendy. If there are seats left for the Dallas show (and there were yesterday for Houston, so), you should go. Even if you have to go alone, you should GO. It's totally worth it.
Unfortunately it's like, the ONLY radio station playing him :( They're thinking of changing the single and there's no word yet on a firm release date, and JC seems increasingly upset in interviews. So yeah, some people think he might not release the album. But I don't have any actual news on it, just speculation.
