The desert was great. Only die-hards like us were out there because of this "rainy" weather. "It hasn't really rained," said my cousin from NJ. I got some good pics to share, but they're on his camera, so they'll be up in a few days. If you have seen the Superstition Dry Lake, well today, it wasn't.
My weekend was fun and no studying was accomplished. I was only at home for about 13 hours, total.
I hope it rains all week.
The so-called "storms" as warned about by the news, are a complete joke.
"VERY MOIST SUBTROPICAL FLOW WILL BRING PERIODS OF RAIN... HEAVY AT TIMES... THROUGH TUESDAY. THE RAINFALL HAS DECREASED TONIGHT BUT ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED AT TIMES MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. THE HEAVY RAIN ON ALREADY SATURATED GROUND... PLUS SNOWMELT IN SOME MOUNTAIN AREAS... WILL INCREASE THE FLASH FLOOD POTENTIAL."-no shit?
"...SHOULD MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF FLOODING OCCURS."-I would have never guessed.
