^ Yes I know that song is excruciatingly boring, even if does sound good. Sorry, but it reflects my summer so far.
Half a week and I'm still jetlagged. The flight itself was ok, ANA's a decent carrier overall, and thanks to business class I was able to get some sleep.
Unfortunately, that's a bad thing. Apparently, when you're flying west across the Pacific you're supposed to either sleep nearly the whole time or not at all in order to avoid jetlag. Doh.
Mathematica's "random" number generator isn't all too random either. Apparently, it derives it from "rule 30", an infinite recursive sequence of elementary discrete cellular automata. Which, well, is really not much different than taking digits from some irrational number. Not a big deal, but you would expect more from such a powerful math software...
