Things Donald Trump said in this weekend's Republican Primary debate:

• The Iraq war was a huge mistake, and you shouldn't vote for someone who couldn't admit that until last year.

It's sad when sometimes he is not the most ridiculous person on the stage...

True. But even more sad that the one thing that hurt his poll numbers (he's actually lost the lead for the first time in months) was saying things that were sensible and true. His campaign is based entirely on him saying ridiculous, inflammatory, and horribly racist things, and that's what the Tea Party seems to want. (What they've been trained to want by Fox, the Kochs, RW talk radio, etc.) Reality does not sit well with them. Which is both absurd and terrifying.
