Merry Jesusmas/Holy crap, first post.

 Le gasp!  I am making a post!  Registered a few days ago and I hold off on posting until Christmas.  But yes, here I am, P.G. Rhydderch.  This first post doesn't mean much, just an informal introduction.

I guess I should issue a few warnings/disclaimers.

1. I'm a nerd.  I have no 'life,' per se.    If I was worried about people pulling the life card, I would've changed long ago.  I feel comfortable as a nerd, and this blog will be discussing heavily nerdy things.
2. I'm a composer.  I know music.  I doubt that music-related stuff will come up, but when it comes to structure-related business, I'm usually right.  If I wasn't, I wouldn't be doing my job, would I? :3
3. I'm a dude.  SHOCKING INFORMATION!  STOP THE PRESSES!  Yeah, I'm a guy.  Big woop.
4. I fucking love Pokémon.  I will be one for using competitive lingo and making a bunch of Pokémon-related posts.  Most of them will probably deal with NU lineups I've been coming up with.  Also, I am mostly a fighter, a fighter who is transitioning into the 2-v-2 environment.  I know breeding basics and have very little contest knowledge for 4th gen.  I am happy to answer battle-related questions or maybe even some item-gathering questions.  As far as 'type-specifics,' I specialize heavily in Normal and somewhat well in Grass, Steel, Fire, and Electric.
5. I am not your average gamer.  I don't play any FPS games or any huge online game.  I tend to stick to RPGs (JRPGs, mostly, and a lot of them are SRPGs), rhythm games that aren't Guitar Hero/Rock Band-related, survival horror, and fighting games (that has dwindled to Guilty Gear as of late).
6. I love horror-related things.    I am definitely into Asian horror, especially, and in general, more in love with psychological horror.  H.P. Lovecraft is my favourite author.  My taste in music delves into the macabre at points.  I watch slashers for fun.  There will be times where I will discuss my recent horror ventures on here, so I just thought I'd warn you.
7. My music taste is strange.    http://www.last.fm/user/Mogsy_Rhydderch If you don't believe me, go there.  My taste is greatly filled by ska, folk rock, industrial, and Japanese music (j-rock or j-ska), but I like whatever the hell I like.
8. I'm a queer and a furry, oh jeepers!  Fursona is basically a Furret version of myself in real life, but furry fandom doesn't go beyond an online persona in my mind.  The art is cute, but the porn is disgusting.  As far as the queer thing is concerned, I see my sexuality as just that, my sexual preference.  Nothing to be focused on (despite the occasional shippings of (human) Pokemon characters), really.  I'm also in a happy IRL relationship, but that's enough about my love life for now.
9. The internet is not serious business, despite how I'm conducting myself right now.  I'm being professional/not an asshole right now, so this method of conducting myself is just polite.  The internet isn't serious business to me, but I still expect people to be polite, so you don't look like idiots.
