I've been in cardiac rehab for several weeks, and I seem to be gradually improving. I had an incident and had to skip last Monday, but Wednesday I got there and it was a good session. Unfortunately, it seemed I had forgotten to take my insulin, but my sugar level wasn't as high as I feared (147).
I seem to forget something or other in my daily routine every day. Maybe there's just too much to remember to do?
Tuesday, I had one of those weak-knees things. I don't know what happens, but suddenly, my legs refused to hold me up. This is only the second one, thank Heaven--the first was in September, shortly after I had gotten home. I had to lean against something. Unfortunately, it was the coat closet door, and there's now a hole in it.
This afternoon, a road trip--our first--to Charlottesville. Since all I have to do is sit there and steer, I expect no problems. However, I will stay overnight, and I have to remember to take everything along--spare underwear, etc. I also need to go by the pharmacy (hoping they are open!) before we leave.
