Have House die and Wilson marry and move away to be with his boy.

I really, really hope not. =/

I'm also not the biggest fan of House dying in general, probably because I'm not sure I could handle Wilson's reaction (I'm still almost never able to bring myself to re-watch "Wilson's Heart," and when I do, I'm a mess). I'd much prefer it to be the other way around, if one of them has to die. Don't get me wrong, I love caring/worried!Wilson, but we've gotten so much of that lately and I'd love for the series to end with a real look into how much House cares about Wilson, too. I actually imagined Wilson becoming ill and House not being able to solve the mystery in time, but I'm not sure my vote for a dying Wilson is that popular on LJ lol.

But maybe it won't be so bad. Episodes rarely turn out as the promos make you believe.

PS - I know it's hard not being able to join in on the comms, but I'm really glad you're posting here on your own journal. I'm always eager to jump in on another discussion, and I know others are as well :)

I remember the episode where House's old friend Crandall shows up with a sick girl who went through Hurricane Katrina and is his daughter. House did everything to prove that she wasn't Crandall's kid (to protect Crandall from being used). I wonder if House will try to prove that this boy is really not Wilson's son. What if there is an upcoming road trip where House tries to prove that to Wilson? Or what if the road trip is a final hurrah of two friends because one of them (House) is dying? If Amber was simply a proxy of House, then can you imagine how it will destroy Wilson to lose House himself? I'm scared about where the show is going for the series finale.

A thought just occurred to me--what if House knows he's sick and isn't going to do anything about it because this is his way out of all the suffering and a means of setting Wilson free?

Interesting. I've never really pegged House as suicidal (I figure he would've OD'ed on Vicodin by now if he wanted to), but I could see him refusing treatment. Which Wilson would fight him on, I presume.

Yeah I hope they don't rehash yet another plot element - House pretending to be sick. I like the scenario of House refusing treatment and Wilson having to persuade him, and everything that could come out of that.

But Wilson with a son? I really do not want this.

Amen. Especially if it implies Wilson isn't smart enough to use a condom.

Unless he was in what he figured was a committed relationship where he figured they both were safe, or had been tested. But yeah, you're right. As for the son--bad news:/

we all know that a 'real' home must have both a mother and father in cohabitation.
(blood dangerously boiling)
Because a father can do whatever he wants, but if a mother isn't home topersonally care for her sons every day she can be freely insulted (the comments made me want to throw the laptop from the window).

Sorry, couldn't resist. Amen.

I can't believe they'd kill House, because, you know, money. What I can see is that they'd bring Wilson away, precisely for the reasons you say, and House will be even more alone. And maybe fall in love with Dominika (where is the damn sick bag when I need it?)

Oh dear--I was being sarcastic about the family thing above--I hope you know that!

While I don't want to see House fall in love with Dominika, if Wilson does abandon House I wouldn't mind him having someone to ease the blow and make certain he isn't all alone.

I know, hon. Unfortunately, the commenters on the Guardian website weren't. The f***ing "left wing" Guardian.

Oh yes, and if this has to be, I'd much rather it be Dominika than many of the alternatives. She really seems to 'get' him.
