*sniffle*

That's a big bowl of sad, that is. It takes a damn good sad story to make me sniffly. This made me powerful sniffly. And angry. Poor Wilson.

Bastards.

*sniffles some more*

Good, heartbreaking story! Thank you for it.
And you take on a very unsavory subject there.
If one thinks about how many innocent people get broken till today in this kind of "therapy", sent there by religious zealots. Religion is the worst cancer humanity is plagued with.

You're welcome, and thank you for reading. I believe in God, but not religion. Religion is the organized control over people's minds and behavior. It has caused more wars throughout history than anything else.
I've been doing research into conversion therapy and the stories of survivors and it's heartbreaking. It is important to note, however, that not all conversion types are religious in nature, although the vast majority are.

I have nothing contrary to say about your assessment of religion as you are spot on.
I didn't know there is "conversion therapy" without the religious component. I wonder how that is possible as without religion there is no 'why' and also no 'how'?

It's seen as 'unnatural'. As long as there is hate and bigotry, there are always the reasons why and the means.

Poor Wilson D:

Good story! *mems*

“It’s alright, baby,” the diagnostician told him and covered his face with small kisses. “I’m here.” Is quite possibly the best line I've ever read :)

Poor Wilson. What a frightening experience. You handled a very disturbing subject respectfully. House behaved perfectly.

Whoa! That was so good but so sad. I like how you tied in the Conversion Therapy with Wilson. The belt part really surprised me. I immediately thought he whipped him with it and not use it around his neck. That surprised me as well as the therapy afterwards. You put a lot of thought into this. Very well done.

Thanks! The conversion therapy thing had been in my mind since the episode "The Choice" first aired. Thanks for reading :)
