An open letter
Hi,
I'm still here and I want to continue to be your friend. I've just been very busy with life and I know that's no excuse for not keeping in touch but believe me I would like to see you again. I really did enjoy all the good times we had together and I hope that there will be more in the future.
Maybe one day soon we'll have lunch or dinner, maybe even go see a movie. We can share our thoughts on the world or maybe just laugh at random, stupid things. There is an incredible amount of things that have happened in my life, but it may be a while before I am able to share it with you.
So please, take this letter as a form of apology for not being there with you. Please believe that my lack of presence, in no way constitutes a lack of friendship.
