It's a proof copy, and I already have a bunch of edits to apply to the MS. But I wanted to get an early copy of the book in my hands. I've been working on this puppy for four years, and I needed to see it--to make it real.
It's real.
I'm working with Lulu on the book. While I wish the per book printing cost was around $2.00 less than it is, I am very happy th the quality of the cover and paper. I hope the words inside are worth reading.
The front cover will be changing a bit. The quality of the image isn't quite where it should be, and we'll be moving the text around a bit.
It's quite an event to receive your first copy of something you've written. I'm so young compared to a lot of people I've come to respect so much over the last year (not in age, but in experience). But I'm going to make a go of this.
Time to start using that mic.
