Well, I just found the addy for livejournal and thought I'd take a gander. It's been a long time for sure. So many changes in my life. Willis and I will celebrate our 30th in a couple weeks. We will be in Duck NC at the time with my family. I'm really looking forward to getting away. We have 19 people staying at the house, so, I might be spending a lot of time out and about. I bought a ton of craft stuff for the kids, and a bunch of DVDs for movies I the evenings.
I'm still working at Forbes Hospital about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh. Still in Electrophysiology. I like it, but would love to win the lottery and retire. That ain't happening!
I couldn't be prouder of my hospital. We haven't been a trauma hospital for more than a year when we got all those stabbing victims from Franklin Regional high school. All the kids survived, some after horrific injuries.
Jen, is now a nurse at the same hospital In The open heart unit. She volunteered to go to the ER after working 12 hours to help with the kids.
Chris graduated Duquesne with 2 majors, political science and sociology. Straight A's. (Unfortunately, he hasn't found a full time job. He is working at a local chamber of commerce.). He is going to study for his LSATs and would love to go to a great law school.
We had a death I the family. My Aunt Sheila passed away in April after becoming sick in December. She had several falls since December. She was the last of the Conley family( my mom's side of my family). Just us cousins left. Sorta sad.
My dad is 84 and doing great! He's coming on vacation with us. Still golfing once a week and playing his trumpet in several bands. Still missing my mom.
Well, that beings my life up to date. I hope you are all doing well(if anyone still omega around).
