1. Where did you begin 2009?
In my living room with Willis

2. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Left a position and took a new job at a new hospital because I wanted to, not because I had to.

3. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make resolutions because I know I wont keep them.

4. What was your status on Valentine's Day?
Married

5. Did anyone close to you give birth?
no

6. Did anyone close to you die?
yes

7. Do you know anybody who got married?
yes

8. What countries did you visit?
Just America

9. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
To travel

10. What are you looking forward to in 2010?
Both my kids graduating from high school and college

11. What date(s) from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Christmas. Without sounding morbid, I think this may have been the last Christmas with my mom.

12. What was your best month?
Christmas. The whole family was together all at once

13. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I got the Academy of Excellence at West Penn

14. What was your biggest failure?
Not being kinder to my husband and kids

15. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Sort of, but I'm fine

16. Did you have to go to the hospital?
Just for a few tests

17. Did you have any encounters with the police?
No

18. How did you earn your money?
Work

19. What was the best thing you bought?
A little laptop

20. Where did most of your money go?
house stuff

21. Who has been your best drinking buddy?
I went out a few times with friends from West Penn

Been voting since I was 18

23. What was your favorite Night out?
Christmas Eve

24. Did you move anywhere?
Just my job, into the suburbs.

25. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
On a personal note, I got an article published.

26. What has been your favorite moment?
Dinners at home when everyone was home.

27. What music will you remember 2009 by?
I cant remember if this was this year or last, but I loved Susan Boyle singing in Britain's Got Talent(It reminded me not to judge books by the cover)

28. What concerts/shows did you go to?
High School band concerts and plays.

29. Compared to this time last year, are you;
a) Happier or sadder? sadder
b) Thinner or fatter? a little chubbier
c) Richer or poorer? Probably poorer.

30. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Exercising and taking better care of myself (and cleaning my house)

Complaining

32. How did you spend Christmas?
With my family. My whole family. I am especially thankful that this included both my parents who had been in poor health this year.

33. Did you fall in love in 2009?
No.

House

Hating is a waste of emotions

I loved The Shack.

A netbook and a Kindle

A healthy mother

Blindside

I turned 49. I think we went to a Japanese restaurant with Willis and the kids

42. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I would have like to have taken a trip with my kids.

Jen is always threatening me that she is going to sign me up for What Not To Wear.

I don't think anyone really caught my eye this year.
