Cautiously optomistic
Mom is in the hospital again and I am happy. There can be little denying her need for PTSD/Phobia focused therapies. The latest trigger was a photograph of her dead sister/my godmother Rosemary's. Mom has a history of trauma/phobia related triggers. There is no evidence of Traumatic Brain Injury outside of a begning brain lesion which is regularly monitored.
Pscyhopharmacology has been focused on treating bipolar disorder and anxiety disorder without regard to the causes. She's up to 12 psychiatric medications including 3 uppers and 4 downers. Electroshock has been ruled out as a treatment because her symptoms are not consistent with the population of people who benefit the most from electroshock.
If they don't decide to change her treatment plan I'll probably need to arrange a get together with friends where we yell at stuff, set a bonfire of some sort, and where applicable consume alcoholic beverages.
