Nice screencaps. :) And you can definitely see shades of Kevin Black in Paul's current portrayal of Darryl Van Horne.

It's a comedy show. It's about this handyman named Red Green (the older guy) who has a cable(?) show with his nephew (the younger guy in the caps). In this episode, Paul's character, Kevin was in a segment of Green's show as a new guy in town that bought some land near Green's lodge which has numerous mosquitoes - the first cap is him scratching. Green said to find the best land one just had to buy the oldest property around and Kevin was so ready to buy it. The last cap is him finding out the oldest property around was the lodge.

I just got another disc with I think the last regular episode appearance by Paul (I think he showed up at the live special which is not on DVD nor I think rebroadcasted - in the US anyway)

Paul, in his character of Kevin Black from The Red Green Show, did a PSA for PBS some years back. This is the live special that you probably remember. I recorded it and uploaded it to one of PG/DS LJ sharing communities in Dec 09/Jan 10 (can't quite remember exactly). I'll upload the clip to You Tube and tag appropriately so you can find it. :)
