sunshine!
I feel really good.
I've been spending so much time in the wonderful wonderful Seattle sunshine (no humidity, can you believe it?). I have a sunburn now! My days have been filled with walking and exploring and almost dying by exploding streetlights. I miss Jess so much and I wished all day that she was here to enjoy the weather with me. But it doesn't matter because I'll be in San Jose in 2 days! So exciting. I had a really good phone conversation just now, which actually sort of reawakened this particular affection for Jess that hasn't been "on" in a long time. I am so happy to be a part of her life and to have her in mine right now. It's been beautiful. YOU DONT EVEN KNOW. Holy crap. I'm really happy. I want to dance.
What should I make for dinner? hnn.
Tomorrow is the big little job. With Katie now. It will be very much a fun experience. I love Katie. I love Aaron, too. I also love Maeg O'Donoghue Williams who left a wonderful voice mail on my phone yesterday and made me soso happy. I have to call her back.
Today I went to Coffee Messiah and bought a vegan espresso chocolate chip cookie but they were all stuck together and falling apart on a plate so the guy gave me all of it! Two bags full. What a day.
Oh, and the exploding streetlight death thing. Katie and I were standing by the crosswalk, you know, waiting. And this bus drives by (our buses have these poles that attach to cables that run overhead in the city for whatever reason) and they started to spatter and disconnect and wires shook and fell and craziness. Anyway, an entire streetlight fell not a foot in front of us and we had no where to go so we backed into a fence trying not to die.
We didn't die. Good story, though, huh?
