Good-bye, Tony DiNozzo - hello, Bull!

So last evening [Tuesday, 17-May, 2016] was Michael Weatherly's last as a regular on NCIS.

I find myself more sad this morning, than I was while watching the ep. Unfortunately, TPTB decided to jam-pack the ep with references to Ziva David - calling her Tony's true love - despite years of Michael [and Tony] denying that he would ever date and/or ever sleep with Miss Mossad-Assassin-Princess!Ziva David. One of the best things to come out of the ep was the revelation that Miss Mossad died in the bombing of the farmhouse in Israel. When it was revealed in the show - I can honestly say we [BFF and my roommate] were all but dancing and singing "Ding! Dong! The B!TCH is DEAD!"

I'm so annoyed and disgusted with TPTB on NCIS all but blaming Michael because they felt that his involvement with the pilot for 'Bull' "forced" them to eliminate/minimize his presence in the last few eps leading to the season finale. Considering that he's been there since the pilot on JAG and has remained loyal to the show and the production for 13 years, their treatment of him is beyond disgusting. It comes across as "let's toss Michael under the bus" as well as pandering to the TIVA-nistas who have been predicting CdP's return to NCIS every other day since she left [now the only possible return is if it's flashbacks! YES!!!!!]. Through all this, Michael has remained a class act as he's done the rounds of publicity for the finale.

Good-bye, NCIS Very Special Agent Anthony D. DiNozzo. You will be missed - the show won't be the same. I look forward to seeing Michael as the star of 'Bull' this Fall.
