spoilers if you haven't seen episode one of Miracle Day
1 - there is a timeline 'glitch' - the opening scene of episode one is at the Tennessee Penitentiary and starts just before 6 am Eastern on a Monday [I think per extrapolation from what we've been shown and told] - it's the 'execution' of Oswald that fails and is very noteworthy event while he's obviously not the first person to NOT die - he is early enough in the process for it to be a huge surprise
the last confirmed/reported death happened on Sunday 22:46 [or there abouts I don't have my notes in front of me] or 10:46 pm Eastern on Sunday - the same time we see Rex speaking to Esther and his accident happens - cause it is also the same time the Torchwood email hits the CIA, etc. - and yet when Rex is being brought into the ER we hear the EMTs speaking about a suicide jumper earlier that afternoon who had not died despite shattered bones, etc. and Dr. Vera Juarez says there was another DOA brought in earlier that simply hadn't died - Rex accident happened within moments of that email and within moments of the last - later confirmed - death - so how can there have already have been immortals not dying that much earlier in the day BEFORE Rex's arrival - it didn't take that long to get him from the accident site to the ER
so RTD and the rest of the writing staff seem to have issues with timelines right from the start
2 - when we see Rex on the plane and talking on the phone to Esther - the hand the reaches over and takes his phone - closing it - is a 'right hand' and does not have a watch on it
when we see from Rex's point of view later on his memory of the incident on the plane - we see Jack reach with his left hand - his wrist strap with the vortex manipulator plainly visible as he grabs the phone and snaps it shut
