Condor series - m/m romance/adventure series
okay - recommendation of a fun series to read...
I'd never say that John Simpson was going to win any awards for writing - his novels aren't meant to be dissected for characterization or hidden meaning and symbolism in each piece of dialogue or plot turn - but they are fun and entertaining.
Some of the situations are a bit simplified but it does make for far less dithering in the plot as things move along. Cause as much as I love Tom Clancy - some of his Jack Ryan series plods along and can get so convoluted that it can leave the reader lost and with a migraine to boot. You won't get that here with John Simpson's David Windsor/Shane Thompson series.
The latest installment came out yesterday and I bought last night via Dreamspinner [wanted to get it for the Kindle but Amazon only offers the paperback at the moment] and finished it this morning. And can honestly say I hope he continues to write more in this series.
