'Got Talent' back up to 11.1 million

Britain's Got Talent grew its audience by around 600k week-on-week, early figures suggest.

The latest episode of the talent contest managed a healthy 11.12m (48.4%) for ITV1 between 8.15pm and 9.20pm on Saturday.

Afterwards, ITV2's spinoff show Britain's Got More Talent continued its gradual climb in the ratings, taking an audience of 1.62m (8.2%) and 178k (1.2%) on timeshift.

Primeval was up 130k on last week, with 4.79m (24.9%) for ITV1 over an hour from 7.15pm. It followed on from All Star Mr & Mrs, which had 4.54m (26.7%).

The latest episode of Robin Hood logged 3.28m (19.5%) for BBC One from 6.15pm, a fall of 190k. John Barrowman variety show Tonight's The Night was up 310k to an encouraging 4.15m (22.3%) in the 7pm hour.

The National Lottery: 1 vs 100 appealed to 4.45m (20.8%) at 8pm, after which 4.04m (17.6%) watched the latest draw. Casualty logged BBC One's highest audience of the day, with 5.35m (23.8%) tuning in at 9.10pm.

Elsewhere, one-off special ITV's Best Ever Ads took 4.25m (19.6%) for the commercial broadcaster from 9.20pm.

Documentary The Birth Of British Music pulled in 1.07m (4.8%) for BBC Two in the 8pm hour, then an extended version of Friday's Have I Got News for You interested 1.89m (8.2%).

Channel 4's screening of Endgame had a disastrous 340k (1.7%) from 7pm, then the audience lifted to 1.1m (5.1%) for Bring Back - Star Trek.

An NCIS double bill took 996k (4.5%) and 1.45m (6.4%) for Five from 8pm, after which CSI: NY appealed to 2.29m (12.2%). Law & Order closed off prime with 1.01m (8.2%).

ITV1 averaged out to a share of 28.5% in primetime, while BBC One managed 20.2%. BBC Two took third place with 7.9%, followed by Five with 6.2% and Channel 4 with 3.4% (+1: 0.5%).
