Survivor Flatland - Production Journal - 01/27/07
So I'm back with another Survivor Flatland update. I'm sure you're all excited about this. Today's update shows the Hero Tribe arriving at their camp to a banquet of stuff. We also learn how much Han Solo really drinks and what the favorite past time of the heroes is. Exciting stuff, I know. This clip took me a little time, but not too much really. I worked a little on it last weekend (maybe an hour or so), then most of yesterday (6 hours maybe?), then another hour today. So not too bad for another section of the video done (3 down, 5 to go). The schedule I've set for myself looks sort of like this:
Next week (2/2 or 2/3): Villain Tribe camp
Week after that (2/9 or 2/10): Immunity Challenge (probably the second longest part after the Lava River section)
Week after that (2/16 or 2/17): Tribal Council (1st guy voted out and all, shouldn't take too long to animate)
Week after that (2/23 or 2/24): Confessional + Preview for the next episode
So yeah, if things work according to plan, I would finish off Survivor Flatland just a bit before Spring Break, which would probably be good. The Immunity Challenge will probably take the longest out of all these clips, but I should hope that I could get it done in a Friday/Saturday work-a-thon. We'll see though. For now though, enjoy the Hero Tribe clip.
