Its frustrating

that when I buy books from Loose-id I can only buy them in one format. With Loose-id, I have to pick the format before purchase. I am stuck with that format. After purchasing, it does not give you an option to download any other formats. Which means that unless I convert the book myself I have to re-purchase the book in the new format I want.

At all the other sites I purchase books from I can choose after I purchase what format I want, and then if I want to download the other formats at any other time I can.

I own a Nook, so all my books that I have bought since purchasing the Nook have been in .epub format. Ray is getting me the Kindle Fire HD, which takes the .mobi format. I know that I can convert books through Calibre, but sometimes some formatting gets all screwed up in the process. Unless I am doing something wrong. There are certain books that I want to take with me no matter what device I am carrying.

I thought about buying a android tablet so I can have both the Nook and Kindle apps. (I won't buy a ipad.) My daughter has one, and she says that they are nice, but the battery life sucks. I've read that alot. Maybe I'm just to fussy.
