The List for Jan/Feb
Hi everyone. I hope you all had a great holiday. I've been busy with mom, running her to Dr's appointments and stuff like that. She has been doing good. I've been doing a lot of reading. I completed my reading challenge for 2012 with 171 books, my goal was 150. This year I've decreased my goal to 125, mostly because, we don't know how mom is going to be doing on the cancer drugs they have put her on. Hopefully she will tolerate them well, so far so good.
This list is my wish list, and I use it as such. I enjoy sharing my love of books with everyone. Please check out the publishers I have listed here and look around. There are some really fantastic authors out there. I can't list all my favorites, so go explore, have fun and enjoy. And please if you find some thing that you like and download it from the publisher or a reputable bookseller. Don't file share. Point your friends in the direction of where you bought the book from. Lets support our authors by buying their books out right.
I've read a few books that were not on my last list, some of them were very good. Power Play Resistance and Power Play Awakening, both by Rachel Haimowitz over at Riptide publishing were very good.
She also had a serial type series out called The Flesh Cartel A warning about this series. It is not HEA. You will find no romance here. Not anywhere close to it. It is violent and brutal. It is not for everyone, read with caution.
A new author for me Brandon Shire. has a two book series out Afflicted @ Afflicted II I loved them and have added a couple of his other books to my wish list.
