I wasn't sure I wanted to continue on with this series after I read the first two books from season 1. But I needed to know what was going to happen to both Dougie and Mat. I'm having a strong love/hate relationship with these books. It is not something I would normally read, but I was sucked into the brothers plight, and now find myself wanting to hang on to the end, hoping against hope that there might be a reprieve for them.
A few warnings about these books, this is not a happily ever after story, it is violent and brutal, most definitely not for the faint of heart.
