Its been a long couple of months, but things are finally starting to get back to normal. I do miss my grandchildren now that they are living as we here in Vegas say over the hump in Pahrump. It is about 60 miles away from Vegas, give or take a few miles. Mom is settled in, and hopefully sometime after the holidays we will be able to get her stuff out of storage back in PA and out here so she can have some of her things.
In the meantime I have been reading a lot of fanfiction. Mostly stuff that I already added to my Nook. It is going to take me a little while to get caught back up to some of the stories that I've been following online. Reading original fiction slowed down for a while there. When stressed I always fall back on my happy place, which will always be QAF, but there is a light at the end of every tunnel and I've been reading again. I have 28 books now to finish to complete my reading challenge over on
GoodreadsI am 6 books behind now.
I am reading
Letting Go by M.J. O'Shea right now. It is the next book in her Rock Bay series. The first book
Coming Home was very good and I highly recommend it. I'm on chapter 3 of Letting Go and So far it is turning out to be just as good as the first book in the series.
Yesterday I finished up
From This Day by J.R. Patrick This was a sweet little story. And a nice change of pace for me, I had just finished a few books that were very angsty and was in need of a "Feel Good" story.
I also finished
Bond Mates by Simone Anderson. This was a alternate world short story. Also a nice change of pace for me.
A Reason To Believe by Diana Copland was really a great book. After I read this one I had to read
Grand Jeté diana_copland is a author I'm going to be following closely in the future.
Now For the List.
This list is my wish list, and I use it as such. I enjoy sharing my love of books with everyone. Please check out the publishers I have listed here and look around. There are some really fantastic authors out there. I can't list all my favorites, so go explore, have fun and enjoy. And please if you find some thing that you like and download it, Don't file share. Point your friends in the direction of where you bought the book from. Lets support our authors by buying their books out right.
