Introducing the Newest Member of our Family
This is our new kitty! He's not very photogenic. He's much prettier in real life. He is a 2.5 year old Maine Coon who is, unfortunately, underfed. He was rescued from a home that had 37 cats!!! The shelter gave him the name "Greedy Petey," but seriously, who wouldn't be greedy for some food! Needless to say, his name will be changed. Carmina is terrified of him, Miss Tea could care less. They're all separated from each other until they're more comfortable with the new smells.
Here's the names we have so far:
Leon
Florian
Loki
Danny
Sven
He's a lover, so we picked Leon (French pronounciation LEE-own) and Florian. But Maine Coons are fabled to come from the Vikings, so we chose Loki and Sven. And Danny just sounds like a good name.
We have to officially name him on Saturday when he sees our vet, so help me people! What ideas do you have?
