Feedback

I have a confession to make. I am not good at dealing with feedback and constructive criticism on written work. For someone in my line of work, this is particularly Bad.
At work I am currently revising the massive report that ate my life for a couple of months earlier this semester. There is collated feedback from a bunch of stakeholders (important people who will do stuff with the report), and one of them gave me detailed comments attached to the word file.
At home, I'm revising my thesis. The examiner gave me the grade of 'pass subject to satisfying me with regard to the following questions' followed by ten pages of comments...
While many of the points in both sets of feedback I can understand, there are others where I just want to respond 'read it again - you obviously have not understood this point which is PERFECTLY CLEAR'. *sigh* I'm pretty sure this is not the way one is supposed to deal with these things.
So, writers on my f-list (academic and other types), tell me: how do you deal with receiving feedback on your writing?
