so far this month:
- tummy the turtle (terrapin) has passed away. he was a red-eared slider that lauren and i rescued from the bathroom at her dorm in fordham, living in a feces-encrusted, crowded tank with three other chinatown soup-turtles. we took him back to concord over winter break and we were successfully rehabilitating him. he was just starting to enjoy the warm weather we've been having recently when he died very suddenly the other night. we will bury him today or tomorrow.
- some russian cracker broke into my gmail account and tried to use my google checkout information to make a transaction. too bad i got back into it yesterday and have his address now. thoughts for how this information should be used?
- we had a big family barbecue. got to see everyone again.
- lauren and i made maultaschen. maultaschen were my favorite german thing to eat as a boy. they're a specialty from badem-württemburg. tasty german ravioliesque dumplings that you cook in a broth. we filled them with snausage, spinach, ground garden burgers, bread, and other delicious things. they were very nice.
