bento pics~
The second bento I took pictures of, not my second bento. I don't know how people manage to keep a count on their creations, I've already lost track o.O; This is a taco salad cleverly disguised(or not) as man with a sombrero. And a mustache. A big honkin' mustache. He looks more like a scarecrow though...
This is my squid food coloring experiment. I also made inari zushi(the triangles) which were quite good! I need to get another package of those the next time I go to the store. The squid looks cool but tasted pretty darn awful D:
Tomorrow's lunch. This week's theme is "pirates" over at bentochallenge. Since I didn't get my amigo posted in time for the "fiesta" theme I figured I'd better get this one in. The highlight of this lunch is the pumpernickel bread treasure chest with cheese detailing. It's filled with white corn "dubloons" and steamed pepper "rubies" and "emeralds." The top left is grilled shrimp, to the right are feta stuffed cherry tomatoes, more steamed veggies, and a egg & rice onigiri with Disney "School" furikake (Okaka?). Last but not least, another picture to show off the treasure chest that I spent too much time on XD
I'm working on figuring out iPhoto right now... this was good practice.
