What are you? my air? You affect me like you are my air.

Well, it seems like everyone's coming out of the woodwork with updates, so I'd update, too, even though I haven't really disappeared. I have disappeared from aim, however, due to a dead hard drive. I'm in the process of fixing it, but I seriously doubt I'll be on a whole heck of a lot after that since I'm trying to squeeze all I can out of the ( Read more... )

Are you not assigned to room 346 at the RIT Inn? You appear to be on my housing assignment (found you via thefacebook.com) but you say here that you have an apartment? I came here to say hi and all, but now I'm confused O_o;

Yeah, I'm not sure what made RIT think I was living in the Inn again since I never gave them any indication that I was but it's going to be straightened out. Maybe you'll get the room to yourself for a while :) Sorry for the confusion. But hi anyway, and enjoy the Inn!

Hi!

That's terribly odd, as if they really think you are living in the inn that means they think you either paid or owe them $300 for housing reservation :-/

With all the confusion that results from the first few weeks of fall quarter, I most likely will get a new roommate in...November...I don't understand why their housing system doesn't work...Did you cancel your housing or did you never apply for any?

I think one of my friends put me on her application which is probably where the confusion lies, but I figured since I never paid $300 confirmed anything then it was void. They never even sent me the letter that said "You're assigned to the Inn" and I still haven't gotten the final housing assignment form. I was, however, charged for rent, so that plus the fact that I'm on your housing assignment must mean that something went through that I didn't know about. Whatever the reason, they said I could just cancel it online (I'm assuming on SIS but not sure) since I haven't moved in. Gotta love RIT.

Well, they didn't send letters this year...you have to go to housing.rit.edu and get a housing confirmation that way (they aren't mailing paper bills either). It seems to me that you are in fact assigned, though I have no idea how a friend could have gotten you assigned to live with me...you can cancel it from housing.rit.edu as well. Good luck with that :)

Very screwy system. The website said I didn't have an assignment for the fall so I couldn't cancel it on there, so I called and I guess everything's worked out. Thanks for your help :)
