i went to my first wine tasting tonight and ended up working it. i got to pour wine and talk a whole lot of bull shit with menopausal women. i still got to drink a ton of wine though, but now my head hurts. strangly, my favorite one was from new zealand. coincidentally, the people i didnt want to be there werent, so that was good. but now i am pissed off at the snow. oh well, i got a ton of clothes today.
i think all the wine is making my head screwy. stuff that i learned today: bonnie doon makes good wines and their lables are really cool too, new zealand is good for white wines, i dont like italian wines that much but thats because you are supposed to have them with food, californian wines are fruity, ports go well with chocolate, and blackstone makes a really good easy merlot.
im still pissed though. fuck the snow. i wish i was in md.
