i had a very nice and entertaining weekend with my family: my dad is still ocd, my mom is menopausal, my brother is 16 and angsty, my sister is 17 a huge priss. it also rained a ton and the mets lost, but i still had a ton of fun and it was actaully relaxing. i didnt allow any of the bull shit that has been stressing me out to bug me.
its amazing how much more i appreciate all the stuff in dc more now than when i was a pre-teen.
we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and there wasnt many people there and the over all tone of the place was quiet and low key- until we got there. we disgussed a variety of topics, including tea bagging. yes, that type of tea bagging. i had a glass of wine with dinner. its been a long time since the whole family has been together and we werent completely driving each other crazy 100% of the time. id say prolly only 60% of the time. go us!!!
so its officially the second day of may. lots of stuff is happening in may. the apartment officially became ours yesterday. i already have a dresser moved in. wooo.
anyway, im at work and joanna wants to bother me so i have to go.
