(no subject)
shannon brought over a bag of bagels from work today. that made me happy. i was in a lot of pain before, but im better now. i also finally bought earrings. woo for having metal in my eyes again. my ears have been so empty for so long. out of the 10 holes i have in my ears, only 4 of them had earrings in them. my ears almost feel heavy now. so weird. i also got a sweater on sale at american eagle. it was originally like $40 and i got it for $12! we also visited brad at work. and shannon got her hair cut. this was all at our trip to the mall by the way. now we are watching sylvia. it suckes pretty bad. sylvia plath was an interesting woman, but man this movie is terrible. you know what else is terrible? the stomach virus going around towson right now. jonathan and phil both got it, and apparently a lot of other people have as well. it must suck to get the stomach virus at college. oh man i think sylvia is about to commit suicide! why doesnt she just die already? they drag everything out like whoa in this movie.
but anyway, that was my rambling.
wednesday and thursday were two very busy days for me. wednesday i had 3 classes, and then i ate with the girlies, did some homework and showered, and shortly after, ian and i left to meet tom and friends at loyola so we could leave for bnl (WHICH KICKED ASS BY THE WAY!) it was a really good night, i must say, esp considering how easily it could have turned not good. AND we made it there on time, didnt get lost, and nothing went wrong, and since when does that ever happen to me going to a concert? i would ramble on about the concert, but most of you dont care at all. if you do care, ask me. i rambled on in an email to my cousin about it for like 2 pages. anyway, a funny thing... ian and tom got along on basis of making fun of me. it was wonderful when they decided to team up on me. it was pretty funny actually. like i said, it was a good night. i had fun. anyway, we got home at like 3 because we went out for cheesesteaks after. but ian and i forgot to go to the cash machine, so we didnt have any money, but we managed to pull together $3 for cheese friends at least. it was freeeeeeeezing out there tho. i got to bed at like 4 30. i woke up at 12, went to class at 1 30, got out of class, and went to columbia with ian to get his library books from lees. then right from there we went to eat, and i went to the sociology clubs showing of roger & me (michael moores first film) and for our first event, it was super well. a good deal of people showed up, and they were all friends of ours, so that was inspiring. and then like 7 people stayed after for the discussion and we had a good discussion about it. it kicked ass for me, because im a nerd, and i remember last year looking to see if towson had a sociology club, so that i could talk to more people about sociology out side of the classroom... and i made something like that happen and other people actaully enjoyed it too. it was just cool to feel like i actaully made something happen. and then we went back to the room and pigged out on chips. and i listened to some bnl. and then shortly after we went to free space, and i was in such a good mood from earlier, that i actually participated. we came back, and some people were over and chillin, at like 2 i read until i fell asleep, and this morning i got up for class, went out to lunch with the girlies at brick street, then i called my mom, who saw bnl with my sister in jersey last night. and it was so awesome to ramble to her about it. it was really cool to be able to share an experience like this with her, even tho we werent actaully there together. she had a blast and i knew that she would. it was funny because she was at work when i called her, and like 10 min into the convo i heard dad say that she had to go, but we talked for another half an hour after that. neither of us knew how to shut up about it. then mel and i went to newell to get some jello and broth and stuff for phil to eat. we also visited jonathan for a while. both of them seemed better so that was good to see. then we went to the mall, but i talked about that already. so yea, tho it doesnt seem like i really have been doing a lot lately, ive been nicely busy, and i love it. baseball is just around the corner too! we are getting people together to go to the os vs the bosox at the beginning of the season. im so excited. we are trying to get 25 people to go, because then tickets are only $5 each. already we have 6 people! as of right now, its just the usual baseball crew: me mel shannon wiz ian matt. we are confident tho that we will be able to get the full 25.
WHAT! gen is going home for the weekend! NOOOO!!! but mels naked!!!!! ALL IS RIGHT IN THE WORLD!!!!!
i wish i had a funny story or something to tell you. gen just game me a post it card that says "katie-- happy thanks for throwing candy @ me day BITCH! <3 genevieve." thats kinda funny. but not really at all.
