So.
I just went over to the leasing office with mike to renew our lease and pay our rent. The leasing office always has "fresh" cookies out for prospective and current tenants (first rule of real estate: have something fresh baked). So I asked the lease lady who they got their cookies from. Otis Spunkmeyer, natch. She also admitted that it's very expensive.
And then, out of my mouth comes, "I can undercut them."
At first she misunderstood me and thought I meant that I could make smaller cookies, like I was looking into ordering from Otis Spunkmeyer.
So I clarified, "No. I meant whatever you're paying them, I can do it for less."
So now I have a meeting on Easter Monday for them to do cookie sampling! Potential paid gig! Potential beginning of my life as a baker!
I am so fucking excited!
And I think I'm naming the bakery Cookie's Cakes and Pies. It's cute, it works, it tells people what they're getting.
So, big question people:
What three kinds of cookies do I make for Monday's sampling?
