I know he'll probably only have a few short scenes in The Hobbit, but I must admit that I'm most looking forward to seeing Legolas again.

It's ok, it will still be a good movie. :) At least I know Richard Armitage is in the first one. :) There's a photo of Legolas in the Unexpected Journey calendar, so I guess I just assumed that he would be in the film.
