I realized today, in a deep discussion with Jonie and Krispy, how much I took public school for granted. The fights, the drama, the friendships. I ate so many bags of Zapp's potato chips in high school. I miss that. I took for granted the pregnant girls walking across stage, the hours of classroom time spent with all my brothers from other mothers, the life of an honors student. I miss those pep rallies, the blue and white painted faces, the WORST CHEERLEADING SQUAD EVER. I miss public high school rivalry.
