-1. One hour of facepainting/bodypainting by a local body painting artist. Heather is totally amazing. This is not your typical sun that anyone can draw but absolutely delightful works of arts with shading and background. I highly recommend you check her out. She loves to do body art in general, pregnant bellies, and childrens' birthday parties.

with people at the top of their games. She can teach you to use the equipment you bought on the shopping channel or help you jazz-up your
existing routine. If you suffer from the same sports-related injury over and over again, she might be able to help you sort out why it is
happening. A single one-hour appointment. This is available in vanilla or non-vanilla versions.
Starting vanilla bid 15 dollars, increments of 5 dollars
Starting non-vanilla bid 50 dollars, increments of 5 dollars
1. Crystal is a level II certified Thai Yoga Masseuse and a certified yoga teacher. She is offering a Thai yoga massage at a time mutually agreeable to bidder and herself anytime after June 1st in Hintonburg. (She is currently recovering from an accident.) Centuries ago, a dynamic bodywork therapy based on yoga and Ayurveda was born in the temples of Thailand. In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage - also called Nuad Boran and widely known as traditional Thai massage - the practitioner guides the recipient through a series of yoga postures while palming and thumbing along the body's energy ("Sen") lines and pressures points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility. No oils or creams are used. This will last about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Starting bid 20 dollars, increments of 5 dollars
2. Chris is a licensed pilot who routinely rents a plane locally for fun. He is willing to fly 3 guests (so you and two friends, and get them to put in with you!) in a rented plane at a mutually agreed upon time for a tour around the downtown Ottawa area and Gatineau. Approximate flight time is 45 minutes. Other destinations are up for discussion; this was just his first offer. Please note that Chris will be required to ask your weight and that rescheduling due to weather or illness is a possibility - safety first.

3. Shannon is a raw food lover and has been eating raw food exclusively for approximately one year. She will prepare one raw dessert to serve 6 people with some input of your preferences. Raw food means that it has been created from living foods meaning only items not processed and not cooked above 110 degrees. Sweeteners for desserts can include dates, raisins, raw cocoa nibs, or honey. Maple syrup is also an option though not actually a raw food. Delicious raw foods she has served me in the past include raw cookie dough, raw cheesecake, and raw pumpkin cake, all of which I have given a mighty thumbs up. Raw food can be amazingly tasty, trust me, and since it’s so healthy, it’s also calorie free, right?
Starting bid 10 dollars, increments of 1 dollar
4. Shannon is also a professional dog trainer and owner and operator of a local training company called Potential Unleashed.
http://www.potentialk9.com/?q=node/4 She will meet with you for three one-hour sessions to help with a behavioral issue being experienced by you and your doggie. I have personally witnessed an amazing transformation in one of my friend’s dogs under the expert hand of Shannon, and I highly recommend her professional services.

5. Liz is an intelligent, smart, warm, kind, athletic and compassionate woman who also happens to be totally hawt. She loves cooking, skiing, the outdoors, small children, and wearing bitch boots. She is being auctioned off as your companion for evening adventures in the Ottawa region - as in a date! If you don’t know her, you really should.
Starting bid 20 dollars, increments of 5 dollars
6. Mike is tall, dark and handsome. Always seemingly calm and rational himself, he will listen with a thoughtful and kind ear to your most ludicrous emotional ravings. Also, ladies, this man will happily go with you to musical theater and sit with you in Starbucks while you sip your lattes. I mean, really, what more could you ask for?
Starting bid 20 dollars, increments of 5 dollars
7. Bunz is a local and talented artist specializing in animation. She has offered five 1-hour art lessons in her home to an adult or to a child. She has taught classes before through the city for the queer population.
Starting bid 40 dollars, increments of 5 dollars
8. Jim is an amazing chef and beer maker. He is offering to come to your home and cater a 3-course meal for 4 people with beer chosen to complement each course. You will need to provide plates and cutlery and be willing to clean up afterward. Jim will play waiter and discuss the beers, both how they are made and the varying flavors. His sample meal is as follows (just need to ensure stated beers have not been, uh, consumed yet):
- A cheese plate of asiago, soft goat and feta served with Juniper
Gruit Ale. The soft, salty cheese will play with the tart, acidic and
fruity ale.
- Beef (organic, grass-fed) stew, green salad w/ raspberry vinaigrette and homemade German seed bread served with a Belgian Double. The sweet caramel from the double with balance out against the thick hearty stew.
- Homemade chocolate espresso cake served with Imperial Oatmeal Stout. Strong flavors to finish. Both the stout and cake are heavy hitters and
the dryness of the stout should pair well with the sweet chocolate
from the cake and coffee.
If that meal is unacceptable but you are otherwise interested, please talk to Jim/Alisa. Some changes are possible.
Starting bid 100 dollars, increments of 5 dollars
9. Chris/xendis professionally delivers technology classes on various software. Need to know more about Powerpoint, Excel, Microsoft, or other computer or camera, video related software? He can bring you up to speed. Have something more exciting and obscure? He’s probably still your guy. He doesn’t know it? He’ll learn it. Your mother driving you crazy because she can’t figure out to send email or video conference? Chris is her guy, and what better what to save yourself the constant phone calls? He is offering 8 hours of his teaching services. Chris is low key, laid back, communicates well and will expertly hone anyone’s technical know-how.

10. Charles is your all-around handyman and has offered 8 hours of his handyman services. I have seen Charles's handy work in laying floors, building walls, and putting in windows and he’ll be way cheaper than the guys at Home Depot. You can also save your own weekend time for things you’d rather be doing. Like, enjoying your new paint job?

11. Mel has offered to cook up a batch of her delicious curries for you. Hey, that’s a healthy meal that you didn’t have to cook yourself for cheaper than restaurant prices. Mel will make three curries and enough for 6 potions - just add your own rice! 1) eggplant, papaya & chickpea, 2) butter chicken, and 3) curried watermelon (if available). If not watermelon, then another vegetable dish. I will have the food ready for Saturday to be brought home by the successful bidder or delivered by Alisa as required.
Starting bid 20 dollars, increments of 2 dollars
12. Danielle is an advanced Reiki practitioner. Please see www.willowslantern.com for more information, as Willow was her teacher. The following is taken from there: The word Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese kanji for universal life-force energy.
Reiki is a Japanese holistic, light-touch, energy-based means of hands-on healing. Reiki re-establishes a normal energy flow of ki (life force energy) throughout the body, which in turn can enhance and accelerate the body's own natural healing ability. Using a series of hand positions either directly on or just above the body, the energy worker channels the flow of energy through their body. The client's body then draws off the amount of energy that is required. The energy exchanged is neither from the practitioner, nor is it harvested from the client. It is pure, light, powerful, gentle, and loving Universal Energy. Reiki transcends the man-made divisions of religion, economics, location, gender, and race.
Danielle is offering 3 half-hour sessions of Reiki to you or for a friend (or mix and match) in your home or ours.

13. Matt is a baker extraordinaire. Anytime between now and Christmas, Matt will be available to you to make 5 dozen homemade cookies of your choice. Got a party, a potluck, Christmas baking you’d rather have someone else do? Now is your chance!

14. Two tickets to the dress rehearsal of The Producers performed at Orpheus. While amateur in designation, I have seen many of their productions and I am always impressed by how professional the performances are.

15. Guesstures, a party game. Pop four cards into the Action Timer, then set it and start acting fast. The words may look easy but you only have a few seconds to get your team to guess each one, then grab the card out of the slot before it suddenly drops out of reach. The harder the word, the more points it's worth. Can your team guess and grab enough cards to win the Best Performance Trophy?!
Starting bid 5 dollars, increments of 1 dollar
16. Rummy for Monopoly fans! Every property on the board has a card for you to collect to form at least one complete set. There are also house, hotel and token cards to multiply the value of your sets. Mr. Monopoly and GO! Cards provide quick points and help fill out the 10-card hand in a 4-player game. Instead of a discard pile, each player has his own trade pile. Players can draw from the deck or exchange their trade piles with other players (whether they like it or not). A stack of money is included but is unnecessary since cash is only used to keep score and cannot be spent or exchanged.
